Driving Directions from Logan Airport, Boston, MA

Logan Airport is 102 miles from Summerhawk Lakeside Rental Cottages and, depending on travel and weather conditions, takes approximately 2 hours travel time.

Leaving Logan by vehicle, take Route 1A to Revere, MA. In Revere, MA take Route 60 to Route 1 North. Follow Route 1 North to Interstate Route 95 North. Continue North on Interstate Route 95 and just before you get to the Portsmouth Circle exits, stay in the left lane and bear left onto the Spaulding Turnpike, Route 16, North towards the White Mountains.

Stay on Route 16, going through 2 tolls, when you pass through the second toll, you will be on the Rochester Bypass. Once you get through the bypass section, which has several exits into Rochester, you will still be on Route 16 North. (There is an exit onto Route 11 from Route 16, the Rochester bypass, that indicates Alton Bay and Lake Winnipesaukee, do NOT take this exit, stay on Route 16 North!)

You will drive another several miles on Route 16, going through two traffic lights. At the second traffic light, in Sanbornville, N.H., take a left onto Route 109, also known as the Governor Wentworth Highway, heading West to Wolfeboro, N.H.

Drive Exactly 7 miles to Lake Wentworth, Wolfeboro, N.H. which you will see at the bottom of a long, gradual hill. At the bottom of the hill, you will see the lake on your left, you will pass over a small bridge, the cottages are on the left behind a red stockade fence, trimmed with green. Look for the sign on your left that reads, "SUMMERHAWK LAKESIDE COTTAGE RENTALS"; the driveway and gate into the cottages is just before the sign. They will be the first cottages you see on the left beside Wentworth Lake. If you come to Wentworth State Park on your left, you have gone too far.

Driving Directions from Manchester Airport, Manchester, NH

Manchester Airport is 50 miles from Summerhawk Lakeside Cottage Rentals and, again, depending on variables, it takes about 1 and 1/2 hours travel time.

Exit Manchester, N.H. Airport and take a right onto Route 3A going North. Follow Route 3A to Route 293 West through Manchester, N.H. North of Manchester, Route 293 merges with 93 North. Follow this to Concord, N.H.

Take Route 393 East from Concord, N.H. Then merge with Route 202 and Route 4 to Epsom Circle where you will go North on Route 28. Follow Route 28 through to Wolfeboro, N.H.

Just before you enter downtown Wolfeboro, at the top of a gradual downhill grade...you will see Brewster Academy on your left........ Route 28 takes a hard right, watch for this turn. If you find yourself at the bottom of the hill in the heart of downtown Wolfeboro, you have missed this turn.

At this turn you will be heading North, follow Route 28 to a four way intersection, there's a 7/11 store on your left. At this intersection there is a blinking yellow light, here you will take a right onto Route 109 (going East), also known as the Governor Wentworth Highway. Follow this for 1.5 miles. we are located directly after the State Park. You will see a red stockade fence with green trim on your right. Proceed to the center gate where our SUMMERHAWK sign is and the entrance to our compound.

Driving Directions from Portland International Jetport, Portland, ME

Portland International Jetport is 60 miles away and travel time to Summerhawk Lakeside Cottage Rentals takes approximately 1 and 1/4 hours.

Exit Portland, ME International Jetport on the Jetport Access Road East. Follow signs to Route 95 South. Take exit 32 to Route 111 West. Look for Route 202 West and Route 4A. Follow until you come to Route 109 West.

When you cross over Route 16, drive Exactly 7 miles to Lake Wentworth, Wolfeboro, N.H. which you will see at the bottom of a long, gradual hill. Should you be fortunate enough to own your own plane or to rent one, we have local airports as well, i.e., Moultonboro, NH Airport used for small planes; Laconia, NH Airport, also used for small planes and Lear Jets, or if you happen to own or rent a pontoon airplane, you could pull up right in front of your cottage here at SUMMERHAWK.
